Tony Schibeci

President/Football Operations

I’ve spent over 40 years in football and sport as a player and administrator, including a premiership with Hoppers Crossing, a long playing and presidential stint at Wyndham Vale, and five years on the WRFL Junior Board. In 2026 I begin my term as President of Spotswood FNC, alongside my role beyond football as “the voice of the G,” the ground announcer at the MCG.

Vice President/Food & Drink

I joined Spotswood FC as a player in 1993, played in the 2001–02 Reserves premierships, retired in 2003, and later returned in 2013 to support the club through junior involvement and coaching across the U18s, Reserves and Senior Men’s 3rds. Rejoining the board in 2025, I’m a proud local and passionate about helping this great club succeed both on and off the field.

Administrator/Volunteers

My journey began with Auskick at Spotswood with Connor and Mitch, and after time as a team manager and a brief stint at other clubs, we proudly found our way back home. As Administrator, I love connecting with life members, junior families and our buzzing Friday night Auskick community, and while my heart belongs to SFNC (and the Dees), let’s just not talk about Clayton Oliver or Christian Petracca!

Living locally, our kids began their sporting journey at Spotty, and from Auskick through to U16s and now supporting a sustainable girls program, I’ve been deeply involved in the junior pathway for many years. With a strong passion for the club’s role in the community and professional experience across governance, community sport, funding and the not-for-profit sector, I’m committed to building a welcoming, well-supported junior program for all families.

Communications

Hi everyone, I’m a long term Spotty member and supporter,
coming to Spotty in 2001 when our son Jack started playing in
the U9's. Over time, we’ve done most jobs at the club and
really value this. I love the club, and am passionate about
Spotty being the 'go to' community sports club in the west. I
hold the club communications portfolio on the Board, so I'll be
getting out and about in 2026, if you see me, come say hi (or
email or call me if you'd like to connect.

A life member who has proudly been part of the Spotswood Football Club for 42 years, volunteering across many roles and previously serving on the committee, with Spotswood holding deep family significance as a life member and home of multiple premiership winners. I’m committed to strengthening the values, spirit and sense of pride I grew up with, and to helping make the club great for future generations.

I’ve been proudly involved with SFNC since 1978, playing through the junior ranks, serving as a reserves runner, and later coaching juniors before continuing as an assistant coach with the reserves over the past three seasons. In 2026 I’m managing the Premier Club membership, so please reach out if you’re interested in becoming a member.

I joined Spotswood FC in 1980, played through to 2002, later coached the men’s teams, and proudly led the inaugural women’s side to a historic 2019 premiership. Now in my first year on the 2026 committee, I bring decades of club knowledge, strong relationships, and a relentless passion for rebuilding culture and strengthening the Spotswood community.
