The Spotswood FNC is proud to announce the resigning of current coach Steve O’Bryan for the next 2 years. Steve started as coach of the senior team back in 2025 after having been a player with the club since 2019, playing 53 games for the Woodsmen. O’Bryan says he is thrilled to be given the opportunity to coach at the club for another 2 years. “At the start of last year we had a plan to get the club back into finals, as the senior group hadn’t played finals since 2019.

The U18.5 Division 2 team played in a top-of-the-ladder clash against Tarneit to kick off the morning on Oval 2. Three wins from five matches was the overall result for our senior men’s football teams over the weekend. The thirds started the ball rolling on Friday night at home against Wyndhamvale. The game followed our first Auskick session of the year, which saw 146 kids and their parents stick around for a quarter or two.
